Projectiondesign Cineo35, the first native 2.5K projector
Norway's Projectiondesign to unveil at IBC 2010 the new Cineo35 2.5k, The first projector on the market that works with native images at 2560×1600 of resolution. To provide the best possible performance, the projection lenses and optics in the Cineo35 have been designed to work above 2.5K resolution.
By offering an uncompressed display and no 2K data modification, The new Cineo35 fine details that 1080p projectors are unable to provide without cropping or scaling the image. In addition, due to the extra resolution available, the projector can display full 2K in one window and still provide space for editing tools on the same screen. This makes the Cineo35 2.5K ideal projector for installations where colour accuracy and performance are the most important criteria.. The projector features several predefined profiles as a calibration standard, Can quickly switch users between color spaces and calibration settings. Thanks to Projectiondesign's RealColor color management suite, Calibration accuracy is guaranteed to be within 0,002 Points in any place. To provide the best possible performance, the projection lenses and optics in the Cineo35 have been designed to work, even, above 2.5K resolution. These lenses are made of enhanced spherical glass of low dispersion that offer greater contrast, Color sharpness and saturation. Based on Texas Instruments DLP technology, the Cineo35 has four tickets (two HDMI 1.4 and two DVI Dual Link), and offers as an optional 3G SDI input. Presented with a selection of objectives, and is available in either traditional or LED lamp version. A 3D stereo version will also be offered in this new range of projectors.
