Christie has just launched a motorized lens mounting solution that is fully compatible with all Christie DLP Cinema projectors based on DMD 1.2". The Motorized Christie Lens Mount solution consists of a lens mount, engines and downloadable software, allowing rooms to easily and reliably switch between flat-screen and "scope" formats with a single lens configuration. It is designed to automatically adjust offset, focus and zoom, making it the most accurate and convenient solution on the market. With the growing popularity of 3D digital cinema, The motorized lens mount is also designed to work hand-in-hand with Christie's new Brilliant3D technology, the first technology in the industry that significantly increases the performance and image brightness of projectors. The entire reflective surface of the DMD chip is used to produce clearer, sharper images, providing the best 3D movie viewing experience. christieCP2000ZX_lensSide_MRAvailable from next May, Christie will offer a motorized lens mount upgrade kit that will be compatible with any Christie CP2000 series projector that has been previously distributed. Motorized lens mount is also available as an optional feature on all Christie CP2000 projectors purchased from now on. The Christie CP2000-M projector has the motorized lens mounting system built into the system itself and does not require an upgrade kit.
