Cine Colombia and Barco close a technological agreement

Cinema Colombia, The largest Colombian exhibitor and Barco sign an agreement to integrate in their rooms the projection systems DP-1500 and the multiformat mixers ACS-2048 of the Belgian manufacturer.

Barco has reached an agreement with Cine Colombia, The largest exhibitor in the Latin American country founded in 1927, to supply twenty DP-1500 projection systems. Each of these systems is prepared for 2D and 3D projection and will be integrated together with the mixer for projection of alternative contents ACS-2048. With two hundred screens in Colombia spread over thirty-one rooms, for Cine Colombia this agreement is not their first experience in digital cinema nor with Barco, since in recent months it has been moving to digital several rooms in Bogotá, Cali and Medellin. Following this agreement, other rooms in cities like Cartagena, Barranquilla, Pereira, Armenia and Manizales, will integrate digital systems Projection boat.
