To celebrate the 83 Mickey Mouse's birthday and the arrival of Christmas, Disney transformed Times Square into a place full of magic with an augmented reality installation that surprised passersby by allowing them to interact with some of the company's best-known characters on a giant screen located at this important intersection in Manhattan.

Mickey Mouse cumple 83 years of life and on the occasion of his name day he has been seen like never before. Disney Parks has celebrated the birthday of the most famous mouse in the world at the Disney store in Times Square with a striking and innovative augmented reality installation.

On a large digital screen located on the famous Broadway Avenue, Pedestrians have been able to interact with the Disney characters projected on that screen. In this way, it was possible to play with Mickey or dance with Donald. Besides, many of these interactions were done live, so the characters could respond directly to the movements of passersby and the reactions of the crowd that gathered in the mythical square of New York.

The moment was immortalized with a photograph that was sent to the protagonist by email so that he could share it on social networks.. Besides, Disney is using the hashtag #DisneyMemories to collect experiences in Times Square and through the campaign they have launched “Let your Disney Parks memories begin!”.
