Lanner launches the LEC-7105, a digital signage player with Intel Atom D525
Lanner Electronics has added a new model to its catalog of digital signage players, the LEC-7105, a mid-range integrated system designed for digital signage incorporating 1.8GHz Intel Atom D525, two VGA and DVI video outputs and an eSATA connector for connecting external storage devices.
Lanner has unveiled a new mid-range digital signage player with remote activation support and a dual-core, and Intel Atom D525 1.8GHz with remote control p. The LEC-7105 supports up to 4 GB DDR3 memory, features dual display via VGA and DVI outputs, offers an eSATA port, as well as internal SATA and CompactFlash storage, and offers Gigabit Ethernet connections, USB and Serial.
The LEC-7105 is designed for digital signage and other industrial applications and uses the same 268 x 174 x 44mm of model LEC-7900D, with which it shares many characteristics.
Instead of pairing an Nvidia MCP79A-LP graphics processing unit with a variety of Core processors 2 Duo or Celeron M, the LEC-7105 goes with the dual-core Intel Atom D525 (1,8 Ghz), which offers its own integrated graphics. This low-power Atom processor also allows the system to run fanless.
The LEC-7105 supports up to 4 GB DDR3 memory, and features a CompactFlash slot. It also has a bay of 2,5 inches for SATA storage, and the device supports solid-state drives (SSD), as well as with hard disk drives (HDD).
A key new feature is an external eSATA port with its own power supply of +5 V, supporting speeds up to 3GB/sec. Just like the previous model, the LEC-7105 offers two Mini PCI Express slots, one of which offers a SIM card reader for options like 3G and GPS.
External I/O is evenly split between front and back panels, and features a dual Gigabit Ethernet port, as well as four USB ports 2.0, with two USB ports 2.0 more available in-house. Both RS232 and RS232/422/485 ports are available externally. The system provides both VGA and DVI-D ports along with dual-display capability, as well as RCA I/O audio and a DIO terminal block.
The LEC-7105 can withstand temperatures of -5 at 45ºC, y es a prueba de polvo.
