Rhonda Software has developed an automated way to measure the impact of an advertising campaign - dubbed myAudience-Measure- that aims to help companies make the most of their events, product exhibitions or advertising on digital kiosks.

To help companies make the most of the value of their trade show or product sample on a display, the design company, Russian software development and support Rhonda Software has introduced an automated tool to measure the impact of an ad and its appeal to the audience: myAudience-Measure.

This new visual computing solution uses a USB camera and an Internet-connected computer to track visitors who stand in front of a display and then translates the images into demographically tiered audience data that is most sensitive to a particular product or advertising. myAudience-Measure does not record or transfer images or video, but to help sellers you can provide very useful statistics about accurate audience without having to save personal data visually.

To use myAudience-Measure, sellers simply have to mount the USB camera next to the advertising display, which will allow them to face visitors who stand in front of the object of interest. When a visitor entering the camera's field of view pays attention to the display, myAudience-Measure detects the person's age group and gender and the amount of time he or she looks directly at the object of interest. Data is compiled on the Rhonda Software Reporting Web Portal, where the user can enter and view the raw data, get diagrams, analyze audience characteristics and on-site activity and get a personalized marketing report.

The result is a timely and accurate measure of a target audience that allows a company to assess the advertising impact of its product or event. MyAudience-Measure data details efficiency, the appeal, attendance, visibility and other features of the advertising display by age group and gender.
