Inwindow Outdoor and Intel have presented the 'Experience Stations', seven-foot-tall interactive kiosks with an HD display 70 inches operating as part of a digital signage pilot program in a number of U.S. malls and hotels. USA.

Inwindow Outdoor, An innovative company in the development of interactive advertising in stores and shopping centers, has unveiled what it considers the future of digital signage technology within a pilot program that is being developed in four shopping centers located in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Dallas and New York and at the Hilton Hotel in the Big Apple.

The company has worked with Intel to design and create what they have baptized as 'Experience Stations': Independent kiosks 7 meters high, with 70" HD screens and a series of immersive technologies that allow brands to connect with users in a fun way.

Each installation features a number of elements designed to offer consumers the greatest possible engaging experience through digital signage., including gesture interaction, Multi-touch displays and near-field communication capabilities (NFC) so that consumers with phones enabled for this technology can make transactions in the place.

These facilities use Intel's audience print measurement suite (Suite AIM de Intel) To measure the effectiveness of a campaign by analyzing the time a user spends interacting with an ad. Intel software can determine the age group and gender of your audiences, enabling advertisers to offer consumers the most relevant personalized content.

Finding the right audience
Jose Avalos, director of the retail and digital signage segment of Intel Corporation, pointed out that “Today's consumers are bombarded with irrelevant ads, while companies wonder if their messages are reaching the right audience. Experience Stations also include Signclops, Real-time monitoring technology to measure campaign performance and immediately detect any anomalies. When users approach these stations, The left side of the screen shows an interactive ad, and each ad has some component that uses either the touch screen or the 3D gesture camera to encourage user engagement.

The right side of the screen offers an application menu that the user can access through hand movements. For the pilot program, Apps include a directory of shopping malls or hotels, Weather information, A virtual photo booth, Movie trailers and schedules, Foursquare integration and a series of daily deals that allow mall shoppers to enjoy special discounts at select stores.
