Vital Media's latest innovation is called dB TV, live television framed with digital signage content tailored to the client to promote their products and services in waiting areas and retail spaces.

blankThe innovative digital signage company Vital Media has announced the launch of dB TV, the company's latest store display solution designed to engage, entertain and inform customers in the retail sector and in waiting rooms. dB TV broadcasts a customized product for a distributor, dealer or brand as well as service messages alongside live TV programming chosen by retailers.

According to Ben Stagg, Director of Research and Development at Vital Media, this makes dB TV ideal for use in waiting areas and automotive retail establishments., Motorcycles, sports and outdoor equipment distributors and aftermarket suppliers.

"dB TV offers customers the perfect combination of relevant and timely entertainment and marketing messages while they wait., maximizing each and every sales opportunity”, Stagg pointed out. “Not only informs, remember and influence customers at the time of purchase with digital ads, but entertains them with live TV programming. When customers have fun, perceived waiting time is reduced, which reflects positively on their overall experience and fosters business”.

For its inaugural dB TV program, Vital Media has partnered with Michelin and BFGoodrich to offer a solution to mast tractor and agricultural machinery distributors. Michelin and BFGoodrich ads pass through the bottom of the screen while full-motion ads from the Mast distributor circulate on the right side of the screen. The rest 70 percent of the screen works like a normal TV, allowing merchants to tune into the channel and use cable or satellite service, if they wish.

Available as a turnkey solution with a TV screen of 40 or 46 inches or as a conversion solution capable of adapting to an existing television, dB TV is eligible to receive the 100% co-op and AMF reimbursement, according to the company.
