Panasonic unifies its technology business unit in Europe and creates a projector section
Panasonic has integrated twelve product categories into one organization, B2B project management and services under the name Panasonic System Communications Company Europe (PSCEU), made up of four business divisions: Communication Solutions, Visual System Solutions, Professional Camera Solutions and Computer Product Solutions. After the acquisition of Sanyo, The Japanese company has also created a new business unit for projectors.
Panasonic Corporation has announced the creation of a new company, Panasonic System Communications Company Europe (PSCEU), which will integrate twelve product categories into the same organization, B2B project and service management. with 500 dedicated employees to provide customers with a single point of contact, Project Management & Integration Services, The new company offers a portfolio of technology for capture, the processing and communication of all types of data: voice, Image and text.
The new PSCEU is made up of four business divisions:
- Communication Solutions, that encompasses scanners, Multifunction printers, telephone systems and high-definition video conferencing systems.
- Visual System Solutions, including projectors, interactive whiteboards, and Displays and Presentation Stands. Panasonic is the market leader in projectors (>5000 Lumens, Excluding digital cinema projectors) with a 28% global market share (according to Pacific Media Associates, Q3, 2011).
- Professional Camera Solutions, that brings together professional audio-video solutions, safety and IMV technology (o integrated Machine Vision, for its acronym in English). Panasonic is one of the two largest suppliers of professional cameras in Europe.
- Computer Product Solutions, including the Toughbook range of rugged notebooks; Toughpad Professional Tablets and Electronic Point of Sale Systems (Epos, for its acronym in English). Panasonic Toughbook is the European market leader in rugged notebooks with a market share of 62,9% in 2010 (Vdc, June 2011).
The new organization has been structured according to the needs of the customers. Enables the integration of third-party services and products into customized solutions, and Panasonic can provide multi-site and multinational deployment project management. Project management can also include coordination with Panasonic partners.

Projector Line
Panasonic Corporation has also announced that, through the acquisition of Sanyo Corporation, has created a new business unit for projectors. This new unit will integrate R+D, Engineering, manufacturing, Product planning and marketing, thus bringing to the market a strong range of products to better meet the needs of customers. With the creation of this new business unit, Panasonic will stop producing projectors under the Sanyo brand at the end of March 2012.
Panasonic has assured that all Sanyo brand products will continue to carry the manufacturer's warranty standard, Even if the sale occurs after the trademark is officially withdrawn on 31 March 2012. The Panasonic Group is taking steps to ensure that all Sanyo warranties continue to be offered and secured in the future. End users who have any problems with Sanyo branded products during the warranty period, they should consult their original supplier.
The entire line of Panasonic projectors, including Sanyo line, have been seen for the first time at the Japanese firm's stand at the ISE fair 2012 from Amsterdam.
