The new central control unit (CCU) enables the integration of wired and wireless delegate units within a single system for easy expansion of DCN Next Generation conferencing systems.

Bosch has introduced the new DCN Conference Systems Control Unit that enables the integration of wired and wireless delegate units within a single system. By simply adding wireless DCN discussion units, The system can be adapted to the number of participants according to the need of the meeting. A single CCU is capable of controlling up to 245 wired delegate units and 245 Wireless Units. In addition, with Ethernet connection to the control PC, It offers the possibility of traveling greater distances than with the previous connection
RS 232 (maximum 15 metre) No need for converters.

Bosch has also increased the number of trunk outputs in the CCU from two to three to provide greater flexibility in connecting the wired delegate units. Cables can be secured to the trunk outputs of the system using special locking clips to prevent accidental disconnection.

The CCU has been updated with the inclusion of several cost-saving features: The power output has been increased, allowing the CCU to manage more delegate units, and reducing the need for and cost of additional power supplies for larger systems. The CCU can also be configured as a networked controller, eliminating the cost of the special networked controller required in large systems with multiple CCUs (until 4000 Delegates).

Operating with the latest DCN conferencing software and the new CCU, Conference organizers have a very simple solution for both managing conferences and expanding the system in a flexible way.
