The Place de la Bastille in Paris has inaugurated a new bus stop with a futuristic image equipped with digital signage that provides information about the means of public transport (bus, meter, taxis, Bicycles) of the French capital.

JCDecaux has deployed a 'smart' bus stop’ at the Place de la Bastille in Paris. It has four digital screens, three of which are touch screens integrated into one of the columns of the stop. They are connected to the Internet and display information about the different means of public transport in the French capital (bus, meter, taxis, Velib bikes), as well as about the shops and tourist attractions in the area.

LED bars at the top of the column provide information on bus departure times and the main news of the day.

This bus stop is part of the Smart Street Furniture Project launched by the City of Paris in February 2019. 2011.
