Philips integrates an OPS slot in its new digital signage displays
Philips has a new line of digital signage displays enabled for OPS (Open Pluggable Specification) composed of nine different models of 42, 46 and 55 Inch, in no-touch options, dual touch and multi-touch designed to meet a wide variety of digital signage solutions.
Philips has launched a set of LCD screens for digital signage compatible with the Open Pluggable Specification (Paho). OPS is an industry-standard interface developed by Intel that allows users to insert an internal PC into a Philips digital signage display. The slot is designed to simplify maintenance, the changes, and updating a media player.
The new Philips DISPLAYS enabled with OPS are available in 42, 46 and 55 Inch, and each of them with non-touch models, dual touch and multi-touch. By incorporating the OPS PC, users can optimize the deployment and configuration of screens. OPS PC modules do not require optional connections themselves, you can insert the module and start using the functions.
Same models come with RJ45 slots for network access, resolution of 1080 high-definition pixels, HDMI input for fully digital high definition, controllable backlight intensity to reduce energy consumption, and components designed to run in an environment 24/7. An internal zoom feature allows screens to be mounted in videowall configurations. The model of 55 inches includes an insert in the back cover to fit a small form factor PC.
