Moxa introduces the VPort P06-1MP-M12, a compact HD IP camera for mobile applications

The manufacturer of safety devices for transport connectivity, Moxa, has incorporated into its wide range of network solutions the compact HD IP camera VPort P06-1MP-M12, that has an EN certificate 50155 for IP video surveillance applications in vehicles.

Moxa has announced the launch of the VPort P06-1MP-M12, a compact HD IP camera with EN certificate 50155 designed for mobile and IP surveillance applications on the go. The camera is especially suitable for applications in vehicles with limited installation space. The robust VPort P06-1MP-M12 features a wide operating temperature of -40 at 75°C, vibration-resistant M12 connectors, EN design 62262 Vandal-proof IK10, audio input, PoE power input, and IP66 protection against rain and dust. Moxa Dynastream technology is supported to optimize network performance with dynamic bandwidth management.

Superior image quality

The VPort P06-1MP-M12 is equipped with a state-of-the-art CMOS sensor that delivers excellent high-resolution video images at 1280×800 Pixels, and covers larger areas than analog cameras. With the addition of DNR functions (Digital Noise Reduction), BLC (Black Level Control), and WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), the VPort P06-1MP-M12 offers a clear picture of the surveillance area.

High-performance video

The VPort P06-1MP-M12 supports a maximum of two simultaneous H.264 video signals and one MJPEG. Operators can assign each individual stream a specific purpose: For example, an H.264 stream for live video viewing, and an MJPEG stream for data storage. With Moxa Dynastream technology , operators can optimize bandwidth by automatically reducing or increasing the speed of video frames in response to events. Responding dynamically to networked events, Dynastream avoids network congestion to help operators control network bandwidth and simplify network system management.
