The BTicino D45 entrance door system consists of five main components: Entrance Panels, Indoor audio and video telephones, Doorman Telephones, Goalkeeper switchboard, Accessories & Power Supply. It is a safety monitoring system that uses serially connected devices using Digital Bus technologies.

The system is designed to perform functions such as calling, Doorbell, conversation, monitoring, unlocking, network and alarms by connecting the vertical systems to the system's network devices. The use of the PBX as a management and control center for the entire system makes it easier to operate from a single point. It can also detect the power state of charge automatically and switch to power-saving mode when needed to decrease consumption.
