Sharp shows at IFA a new high-resolution multi-touch professional LCD display of 70 Inch
Sharp has unveiled at the IFA fair 2012 Berlin-based a prototype of its new 70" interactive LCD display for the professional market. This high-resolution QFHD display has the ability to enhance working together, as it allows multiple users to interact with the screen simultaneously.
Sharp celebrates its centenary this year and the Japanese company is going to take advantage of the IFA fair in Berlin to review its 100 years of innovation and will look to the future by introducing new technologies, Products and solutions that excel in all their categories. In this sense, Sharp Visual Solutions Europe is presenting at IFA 2012 prototype of its new interactive LCD display 70 inches for professional market. The high-resolution QFHD display (3840×2160) It has a capacitive touchscreen and improves collaboration by allowing multiple users to interact with the screen at the same time.
This interactive display of 70 Inch is a versatile canvas for team collaboration with the option to install the display in landscape or portrait mode and even set it up as a “table” interactive. The screen is very attractive, with the appearance of a design “Unframed” due to glass board. The ultra-high resolution of 3840×2160 delivers truly sharp images thanks to high-end touchscreen functionality, The display adapts to retail markets, Broadcast, Showrooms, CAD, corporate, military and exhibitions.

Sharp is also launching a new full-HD professional monitor in Berlin. 90 and its first QFHD desktop monitor – with a 32" screen –, based on an innovative IGZO panel (Indium Oxide, gallium and zinc) which provides much higher resolution and reduces power consumption. All displays use LED backlight technology to reduce energy consumption.
The new professional monitor from 90 inch is designed to meet the growing demand for larger monitors for the retail sectors, transport and exhibition/museum and delivers high-quality performance through key landmarks. The resolution is Full HD (1920×1080) with high brightness across the entire screen; The display achieves high contrast ratio through local dimming technology with activation of the display's backlight tiles depending on the content. In addition, The display is easier to install with a significantly lower weight than similarly sized plasma screens and has numerous connectivity and control options.
For its part, The new monitor 32 Inch (31,5 Inch) High resolution QFHD (3840×2160) is one of the first to be manufactured using IGZO technology. IGZO achieves much greater electron mobility, Increases aperture ratio for improved light transmittance and achieves higher resolution in terms of pixels per inch compared to amorphous silicon, traditionally used as an active layer on LCD panels. In addition, A reduction in thin-film transistor layer size means less backlight is needed. The very sharp and clear images produced by the display will be of interest to users who require highly detailed images, including financial institutions, Desktop editors, CAD and architecture filmmakers and professionals.
More touch options
Along with the new products, Sharp will also be showing at IFA 2012 your current BIG PAD touchscreen displays, including the PN-L602B, the PN-L702B and PN-L802B (screens 60, 70 and 80 Inch). The BIG PAD can be used for typing, Draw and interact with the contents, as well as for traditional display and video conferencing applications.
