AOpen's DE67-HA and DE35-HD Digital Engines, certified by Cittadino

The Digital Engines DE67-HA and DE35-HD from the Taiwanese firm AOpen have been certified by Cittadino using picturemachine fast edit and picturemachine professional software.

The provider and developer of digital signage systems, Cittadino, has certified the Digital Engine DE67-HA and DE35-HD from the Taiwanese digital signage solutions manufacturer AOpen. The DE67-HA player supports the second generation of the Intel Core i3 processor family, i5 and i7, that offer enhanced flexible performance and built-in visual capabilities for smarter operation on your PC. For its part, The Digital Engine DE35-HD is specially designed for the digital signage industry as a device with great graphic power and very good value for money.

Both digital signage players have high performance and an unprecedented level of graphics integration. This provides a new basis for achieving high performance in delivering media content on one platform and with good energy performance. Both have passed shock and vibration tests with an MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) of 40.000 hours and their compact size makes them ideal for installation on the back of the screen, in a kiosk or POS system.

These Digital Engines were tested with two Cittadino software solutions. picturemachine software is a modular software for production, Distribution and verification of media content. With this tool for Instore Communication (In-store communication) can be provided to 'target groups'’ the right content and advertising opportunities. The other software is picturemachine fast edit. It's a hardware-agnostic platform for beginners and local networks, with templates, channels and the possibility of content subscriptions. The Fast Edit allows easy implementation of your own marketing and advertising strategies.

According to AOpen in a statement, Extensive testing has shown that both components – AOpen's hardware and Cittadino's software- They work perfectly together and represent a complete professional solution.
