Crestron has launched the new range of TSW touch screens, Available in 5, 7 and 10 Inch, that offers Core graphics 3 IU, A beautiful tablet-style design and five hotbuttons (“On”, “Home”, “Lights”, “Up” and “Down”).

Crestron has launched its new family of tablet-sized touchscreens equipped with intercom and Core 3 UI. The ultra-slim TSW collection, made up of the TSW-550 model of 5 Inch, the TSW-750 from 7 inches and TSW 1050 of 10 Inch, It provides the same high-performance control as larger touchscreens and a sleek look in any commercial or residential installation. With ultra-bright high-resolution graphics, Capacitive touchscreen technology, edge-to-edge glass, UI Core graphics 3 and H.264 video streaming, All models are easily installed in a standard wall box to meet the needs of integrators, The most demanding interior designers and end-users of technology. Integrated Rava SIP Intercom technology provides the added convenience of full-duplex intercom, VoIP telephony and group PA functionality.

Capacitive touchscreen offers fast, highly responsive touch action, making the TSW family as easy to navigate as a smartphone or mobile device. Powered by Core 3 UI, users can interact with animated and 3D GUI effects and gesture navigation to swipe, drag, Scroll and release while browsing through music and movie libraries, TV channels / radio and control applications. Kinetic effects provide a great interactive experience when using custom knobs, Regulators and pressure gauges to adjust and control any integrated system, including heating and cooling systems, lighting, Home Theater, Multi-room audio, Security cameras and any other connected devices.

Five soft-touch buttons provide quick access to the most frequently used functions. Pre-tagged with icons for “On”, “Home”, “Lights”, “Up” and “Down”, Each button is programmable through the control system for custom functionality and adds a touch of convenience.

Communication facilities

Rava SIP Intercom technology enables hands-free full-duplex VoIP communication between any pair of Rava-enabled Crestron touchscreens and third-party door stations, no SIP server required. The telephone and group PA service allow you to communicate with anyone inside or outside the house. Built-in microphone and speakers eliminate the need for external dimming of third-party devices and connections, offering everything necessary to converse clearly with others, either locally or worldwide.

PoE connectivity simplifies installation, for both new and modified applications. The TSW 7 models″ and 10″ are installed using a box of 2 standard elements or can be connected directly to drywall and other surfaces. The TSW magnetically attaches to your mounting bracket, eliminating any visible screws and providing a clean, elegant look in any interior design. All control signals, Video, intercom and power are transmitted over a single Ethernet cable with a, eliminating the hassle of having to pull cable assemblies through walls and floors. In addition, by obtaining the operating power through the LAN cabling, PoE technology eliminates the need for a local power supply or any specific power wiring.

The high-performance H.264 video transmission capability enables a crisp and vividly colored display of the video stream on the widescreen display of 800 x 480. Users can view content from media servers, including the Crestron Network Video Streamer, Security Cameras, Webcams and other H.264 video streaming sources.
