Earpro offers JBL Professional's new STX800 passive speaker series

Harman JBL Professional group company has released new STX800 series of portable passive speakers, designed to bridge low-power portable PA speakers and full-size touring line array sound systems.

Earpro, official distributor of JBL Pro in Spain and Portugal, has introduced the new STX800 series of portable passive speakers from JBL. This series has been designed to complement the current offer between lightweight PA equipment and complete touring systems. Perfect for equipment rental companies, groups, mobile teams, fixed installations and, it is even ideal as a side fill equipment or floor monitor. The six passive speaker models of the STX800 series combine excellent sound quality with a very sturdy construction, designed for frequent uses with high power capacity and full integration with Crown VRack V5 amplification systems and Harman JBL HiQnet Performance Manager software.

JBL STX800 series includes the following models:

– STX812M full range enclosure with speaker 12 Inch 2 Way.

– STX815M full range enclosure with speaker 15 Inch 2 Way.

– STX825 full range enclosure with 2 speakers 15 Inch 2 Way.

– STX835 full range enclosure with 2 speakers 15 Inch 3 Way.

– STX818S: subwoofer enclosure with speaker 18 Inch,

– STX828S: subwoofer enclosure with 2 speakers 18 Inch.

STX800 Series JBL speakers offer high power and extremely low distortion and precision waveguides, for control of the exact pattern of sound. These models are designed for easy handling and maximum durability. In addition, are configured to be easily transported, allowing you to make the most of the cargo space, in addition to reducing transportation costs.

StX812M and STX815M can be used for both floor monitors, on a tripod or on a subwooofer. Both have a waveguide of 70 x 70º for accurate and focused coverage. With its wide frequency range and wide angle coverage of 90 x 50º, The STX825 is ideal as the first PA system for groups or as a side reinforcement speaker (side fill) in a concert or as a venue to be installed in a disco or concert hall.

The JBL STX835 is intended for full-range use in stand-alone applications or as a top passive box with stacked floor in high-performance environments.. The STX835 is designed to be located above the STX828 subwoofer. Its 'horn-loaded' media and its waveguide of 60 x40º high frequency allow with only two STX835 it is possible to cover large spaces.

Despite being very compact, the STX818S subwoofer with an 18" speaker can deliver up to 1,000W of continuous power and is ready to install M20 mast brackets for you. For applications that require a massive amount of bass, STX828 dual 18" dual subwoofer can deliver up to 2,000W of continuous power, 4Kw in 4kW program and up to 8kW in peaks.

To offer such a level of performance, STX800 series speakers use the company's most advanced technologies, even the conical compression driver for mid-range CMCD (Cone Midrange Compression Driver) patented by JBL, providing ultra-low distortion in the mid-range, high sensitivity, extended bandwidth and improved phase consistency. High frequencies are well controlled by a titanium diaphragm of 3 2432H inches or by one of 4 2453H inches. The magnet of the neodymium compression motor, operating in conjunction with progressive transition waveguides (PT) patented by JBL, offers consistent directionality and smooth response, even in large spaces. The STX800 series features the latest evolution of ventilation for cooling JBL speakers (Vented Gap Cooling): super ventilation technology for cooling (Super Vented Gap Technology) offers better heat dissipation, to deliver greater power with minimal dynamic compression.

JBL STX800 Series offers many installation options. All models (except subwoofers) incorporate M10 suspension points. Has wheel kits for stx818S and STX828S subwoofers. STX800 series models are built in adbeul plywood /poplar and coated with DuraFlex material, with highly resistant and acoustically transparent grilles.
