A panel with 19.000 eyes closing to raise awareness of infant mortality
The past 20 November UNICEF Netherlands, in collaboration with the agency Roorda Reclamebureau, launched the 'We believe in zero' campaign’ (We believe in zero), consisting of an immense panel of LCD screens that during 24 hours showed in lapses of 4,5 Seconds, 19.000 Images of children's eyes closing, to make it clear how every day thousands of children disappear without a trace.
To commemorate Universal Children's Day, that every year recalls the signing of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989), UNICEF Netherlands and the agency Roorda Reclamebureau They developed a campaign that sought to alert the public about the large number of children who die in the world every day.
