JBL provides new series of AWC enclosures for outdoor installation
JBL, American audio and electronics company belonging to Harman group, has brought to market the new series of AWC venues, formada por los modelos AWC82 y AWC129, Weatherproof and suitable for outdoor applications (theme parks, Outdoor Clubs, terraces, sports spaces...) where high quality and intelligibility are required.
JBL, audio brand distributed in Spain by Earpro, has introduced the new AWC series of compact outdoor speaker systems. This series, which is part of its range of enclosures for outdoor installation, offers quality and sound capacity to meet the highest requirements. Smooth response across the entire frequency range ensures both high-quality music reproduction and clear, intelligible voiceovers.
The new AWC82 model includes a very compact coaxial assembly, of 8 inches and 2 Way, with high frequency compression engine with a coverage of 120 X 120 grades and with a handling power of 250 Watts. For its part, the AWC129 includes a coaxial speaker of 12 Inch, also with high frequency compression engine and with a coverage of 90 X 90 grades and a handling power of 400 Watts. Both models can work directly in low impedance (8 ohms) or on a 70V or 100V distributed line, thanks to built-in 'multi-tap' transformers, 200W low saturation.
Its components include Kevlar-reinforced low-frequency speakers and high-frequency compression motors. (with a unique patented design), featuring polymer diaphragm for high performance levels, with low distortion. The enclosures are available in light gray or black. But also, and with a view to its integration in all types of spaces, can also be painted.
The components of the AWC models are fully prepared for the weather. A grid of 3 Layers, with steam protection, Minimizes direct contact from rain. The enclosure, Fully enclosed, includes a watertight fitting nut on the connection panel, that guarantees a degree of IP protection 56. likewise, both AWC82 and AWC129 are supplied with "U" bracketing, for easy assembly.
Rick Kamlet Senior Marketing Manager for Commercial Installed Sound at JBL Pro, Said: "8" and 12" high-power speakers, derived from Control models 328 and Control 322 (Large ceiling speaker systems), They are combined with a new generation of compression motors that use the internally curved pole part and the entire driver cone., to form a large diameter waveguide for high frequencies. These factors, in addition to the high slope frequency divider they include, They offer exceptionally constant pattern control in a very compact system. Coaxial speakers allow these enclosures to be extremely compact but, At the same time, Its performance in sound level and audio quality is spectacular."
The new JBL AWC models 82 and JBL AWC 129, by its frequency response, Pressure and power, are ideal for outdoor applications (theme parks, Outdoor Clubs, terraces, sports spaces...) where high quality and intelligibility are required
