Honeywell Security has added to its catalog of IP cameras the new series of PTZ HDZ domes, high definition and with real day/night function, offering 1080p resolution (1920 X 1080) with full frame rate, a 360° continuous rotation function and a zoom lens, and that also complies with ONVIF standards that allow interoperability between network video products.

Honeywell has announced the first products of its new range of PTZ domes with ONVIF protocol. Designed to ensure interoperability with any networked security product under the ONVIF specification, these 1080p models will allow installers and end users to design and build network video systems with devices from any manufacturer. For added peace of mind, indoor and outdoor pendant cameras also capture video on a Secure Digital High-Capacity micro memory card (SDHC) and, in this way, local recording is available in case of network failure.

Equipped with a rotation function of 360 degrees and a zoom lens, the cameras offer exceptional image quality and are ideal for environments that require detailed surveillance, as cities, roads, Airports, government facilities, schools, campus and industrial plants. Can capture images up to two million pixels with 20x optical zoom features, so that they provide the level of sharpness and detail necessary for accurate identification.

Cutting-edge technology

The PTZ HDZ dome range is highly versatile and has been developed to deliver high-quality performance in complex environments. All models are equipped with extended dynamic range technology to adjust to environments with changing light conditions and large backlights. In addition, offers reliable operation in extreme weather conditions. The outdoor model supports a temperature range of -45 °C to +55 °C and is protected from dust and rain by a housing with IP66 protection index that has tamper-proof fixings and a polycarbonate bubble resistant to vandalism.

A simple and safe installation is a fundamental aspect in the design of these products. Numerous mounting options allow the installer to adapt to the specific needs of the end user. In order to provide greater flexibility in the installation, the cameras also include a ceiling mount bracket accessory.

Mark Openshaw, EMEA Product Manager, Honeywell Security Group, Reviewed: “When designing the HDZ range, we focus on providing flexibility in installation and operation, in addition to interoperability with IP-based products from other manufacturers, without compromising exceptional image quality. The result is an easy-to-install range, able to protect people and assets in a variety of different environments".

HDZ user interface is available in eleven languages.
