Riedel Communications has announced its presence at the Integrated Systems Europe fair (ISE) 2013 -Booths 9-A111 and 7-K190- where he will exhibit his new SI RockNet expansion card for Soundcraft SI consoles (Supports 32 Tickets and 32 outputs in the RockNet system), enabling intelligent interconnection between RockNet digital audio networks and SSL mixing consoles.

The new RN.344.SI card offers RockNet integration for any Soundcraft SI Compact console via the console's expansion slot. In its first firmware version, The card is compatible with 32 Tickets and 32 outputs in the RockNet system. A word clock output is available on the front panel and incorporates a rotary switch for device identification and selection of up to 16 Programmable routing tables. This makes the SSL console and Soundcraft Si Compact an integrated part of the RockNet system, including remote control of all gains and the flexibility of RockNet's independent gain function.

Independent gain allows multiple mixing consoles to operate with the same preamp microphones without affecting the others. While the master console is controlling the analog gain of the preamps remotely, All other consoles operate with simulated preamps as if they were also controlling the actual microphone input. This makes multi-console and recording setups very comfortable.
