The Dutch company LegaMaster, subsidiary of the German group Edding, has awarded the distribution in Spain of its new range of e-Board Touch Professional touch digital whiteboards to the company StudyPLAN. It is an interactive tactile whiteboard that uses precision positioning technology by optical micro-cameras. Micro-cameras are installed along the top bar of the frame, so they don't get dusty and dirty.. This positioning technology confers great precision and a very high response speed (up to 125 Frames per second) anywhere on the surface.

The e-Board Touch Professional range of whiteboards enables true multitouch that recognises several fingers on the whiteboard surface simultaneously (until 10 fingers if used with Windows 8) so it can be used by several students at the same time.

The whiteboard is available in three different formats: e-Board Touch 77 Inch, for format 4:3 and internal measures: 1165 by 1550 Mm; e-Board Touch 87 Inch, Format 16:10 and with internal measures: 1.165 by 1.859 Mm; and e-Board Touch 93 Inch, de format 16:9 and with internal measures 1.165 by 2.064 Mm. The configuration software is 'Plug and play'’ and is compatible with Windows XP, View, 2000, Windows 7 and Windows 8, Mac OS X, Linux and Android, with driver only. The digital whiteboard software is the easiTeach from British publisher RM and includes 5 User licenses with each whiteboard. This digital whiteboard is one of the few brands of IDPs that are manufactured in the EU since most are manufactured in China.

The CEO of StudyPLAN, Stephen England, has commented that “for StudyPLAN it is an honor to represent this range of digital whiteboards as it allows us to include a range of finger touch products that we did not have in the portfolio of products for education. In addition, these whiteboards use micro-camera positioning technology and this technology is proving to be the most accurate and fastest among all the positioning technologies available on the market.
