Riedel's solution prepares the installation for the "digital dividend" by working on the DECT spectrum 1,9 Ghz, far above other wireless audio systems and without the digital dividend affecting you.

His Majesty's Theatre in Perth (Australia) has just installed a digital intercom system from Riedel Communications. This solution prepares the installation for Australia's "digital dividend", which regulates the launch and possible auction of 126 MHz of contiguous RF spectrum and that will affect wireless microphones, Ear monitors and RF communication systems.

The new digital intercom system that has been installed in “The Maj” is centrally controlled by the Artist digital intercom matrix 32 of Riedel. The theatre has replaced its traditional analogue shared lines with Riedel's flexible Performer digital shared lines and swapped out its existing wireless system for Riedel's Acrobat digital wireless system..

The MajRodney Phillips, General Manager of His Majesty's Theatre, emphasizes that “the implementation of the Riedel system in "His Majesty's Theatre" has represented a spectacular improvement in the technical operation system of the theater, since its high level of coverage greatly improves flexibility and communication opportunities during the performance, as in the trials. "We are delighted with the system.”.

Acrobat wireless system operates in the DECT spectrum at 1,9 Ghz, far above other wireless audio systems and without the digital dividend affecting you in any way. CC-8 base station can control up to eighteen wireless belt sets, each with two fully duplex channels. Four strategically placed CA-6 antennas ensure complete coverage throughout the facility.

Excellent intercom allows audio equipment to replace countless search radio microphones, combining them directly into the alderman's 1RU control panel. Four key Artist panels (one rack-mounted and three benchtop) provide users with high-quality audio and full system control.

last, note that the Director software allows technicians to control conversations (Teams only hear what they need to hear) and thus improve clarity, Usefulness and security of your communications in the theater.
