Spectacular indoor 3D video-mapping to promote the new Saudi city Jeddah Murooj
Projection Advertising has produced the largest indoor 3D video-mapping event, from 35×7 metre, to promote the new city Jeddah Murooj in Saudi Arabia.
The specialist in English projection Projection Advertising has been chosen to hold the largest indoor video-mapping event held so far in Saudi Arabia to promote the new city of Murooj Jeddad (Jeddah Meadows).
For this spectacular event, of 35 meters wide by 7 360º height separated into three components, Fifty spectacular lighting equipment have been used, Multiple high-brightness projectors, surround sound to create "an innovative element of 3D projection live magic, with a unique mapping experience on a canvas of 8.000 pixel", point out its architects.
The projection, five minutes long, was held late last month at the luxurious Leylaty Ballroom (the largest center in Saudi Arabia) as part of the gala evening to promote the city of Murooj Jeddah, developed and built by the company Sumou Real Estate with the help of the Saudi government.
The assembly and staging of this spectacular interior video-mapping was done in less than twenty-four hours, in a complex integration task of Projection Advertising, Composed of software with customized maps of the city and the different scenes, Media servers for sound and lighting management and control, Moving components in three different structures or elements.
During the screening an innovative and 'magical' live sequence was performed, which blended seamlessly with the overall production to create an exclusive and unique video-mapping story translated from Arabic as "Jeddah Meadows": The reality of a dream".
The video-mapping narrative begins with a film of an Arabia boy walking through the desert. He falls asleep and dreams of an incredible journey in which he grows up and lives in the city of Jeddah Murooj. The finale features the seamless integration of real actors emerging, as if it were magic, Behind a crop projection, Before shaking hands with Saudi princes.
A complex production
As Tom Burch explains, CEO of Projection Advertising, "It has been one of the most difficult and complex mapping productions we have made.. From the elaboration of stotyboards from right to left through the integrated projection and live elements, we have delivered an event worthy of the new city of Murooj Jeddah, and one of the most complex and entertaining 3D mapping and mapping shows staged anywhere in the world so far".
