Easynet manages videoconferencing and communications for Melia Hotels in Europe

Easynet manages the videoconferencing solutions of the Melia Hotels chain and, after the agreement signed, It will also take care of your communications through your managed MPLS network.

Easynet, videoconferencing provider of the Melia Hoteles chain, has expanded this agreement to migrate the network of a large part of its establishments at European level to its MPLS network managed in Germany, Greece, France and Italy. It will also be in charge of the interconnection of its two data centers in Spain.

At the moment, Easynet provides this hotel chain with a managed videoconferencing solution in five of its offices distributed in Mallorca, Madrid, Orlando, Los Angeles and Shanghai, to which two more will be added at their headquarters in France and Germany.

“Easynet has been able to understand our needs well and has committed to us to make our corporate processes more effective with a significant cost reduction. Easynet currently being our managed video conferencing provider, allows communication, fluidity and work between our teams is even more direct and easy”, explains Christian Palomino, IT Director of Melia Hotels International.

With this agreement that has been signed with Easynet for two years, Melia Hotels will improve two-way communication between its hotels and headquarters, as well as in corporate processes and costs.
