The meeting room of the future will be fully digital in 2014, according to a Barco survey
The Belgian manufacturer of visualization and projection systems Barco has released the results of the survey on what the meeting room of the future will look like, in which more than three hundred business managers from the EMEA region have participated.

The main objectives of the investment in new audiovisual equipment for respondents are to improve the dynamics of meetings (47%); Reduce setup times (41%), and improving the reliability of the technology (40%), with three technology priorities: Visual Presentation Tools, Remote Video Conferencing Technology, and audio playback systems.
According to the sample, the IT manager (47%), Chief Information Officer (30%) and the facilities manager (28%) are primarily responsible for making the decision to invest in AV equipment, and the average budget for meeting room technology is 10.000 Euros.
