JVC VN-T IP cameras support Onvif protocols

With the approval of the Onvif Consortium and compatibility with the Profile S standard, JVC VN-T IP cameras ensure interoperability with security equipment from different manufacturers.

The VN-T series of IP cameras JVC Professional Europe have been approved by the Omvif Consortium (Open Network Video Interface Forum) and classified as devices compatible with Profile S of this standard.

Founded in 2008, Onvif is a global forum dedicated to facilitating the integration of network security appliances using a global open standard. Launched at the beginning of 2012, profile S (S Profile) makes it easier for users and designers of remote monitoring and security systems, management of interoperability functions between IP cameras, Video management systems and other devices. Among your requirements, Profile S includes support for video streaming, Audio & Metadata, plus PTZ control and device switching outputs that include these features.

JVC cameras that support Onvif Profile S are the VN-T16U fixed camera model, VN-T216U compact dome and VN-T216VPRU outdoor dome (IP66) which includes infrared.

All three models are megapixel cameras, with day capacity & night, and incorporate a Lolux HD CMOS sensor 1/2,7 inches that captures Full HD images (1080Q), as well as multicodec and H.264 High Profile support.
