Mitsubishi Electric installs its largest OLED screen, after Japan, and Siberia
Gazprom, with headquarters in Noyabrsk (Siberia), has opted for Mitsubishi Electric technology to install a 14 screen×8 of 5.4×3 meters that incorporates 112 módulos Diamond Vision OLED.
Gazprom headquarters, gas extraction company in Noyabrsk (Siberia ), features Diamond Vision OLED technology Mitsubishi Electric to improve communication between offices, staff and visitors who come to the facilities.
The Avilex integrator has used 112 Diamond Vision OLED modules to create this digital signage system composed of a video wall 14×8 of 5,4 x 3 metros , with a resolution of 1792×1024 pixels. This is the largest screen installed by Mitsubishi Electric, after the implementation carried out at Narita airport (Japan).
The properties of Mitsubishi Electric's passive matrix OLED technology have been instrumental in overcoming some significant challenges due to building characteristics. Located on the first floor and illuminated by natural light supplied through a high-rise glass ceiling., the screen had to offer high brightness, be compact and light.
Diamond Vision OLED responded to these demands while remaining fully visible even in bright light. The OLED modules are just a few millimeters thick, which makes them very light and easy to install. Also thanks to an exclusive system developed by Mitsubishi Electric , These can be mounted in any configuration creating a single seamless surface., which is ideal for applications of this type.
The screen installed in the Gazprom building is driven by the XDC-6000E display controller from Mitsubishi Electric and uses a media player (Vbrick Media Player HD STB ) and a workstation developed by Avilex.
The entire system has been designed to be easy to operate, allowing the user to program their own content , from corporate videos , advertisements or other information.
