Harman JBL VLA Line Arrays speakers have been the equipment chosen by Daktronics to renew the sound system of the Camp Randall stadium at the University of Wisconsin.
In time to start the football season, Daktronics has redesigned the audio system at the University of Wisconsin's Camp Randall Stadium (Madison). Home of the Wisconsin Badgers football team, It has a capacity to house 80.321 fans and is among the forty largest stadiums in the world.
For the new audio system, Daktronics has chosen to install the speakers JBL VLA Line Arrays Harman. This sound infrastructure consists of 18 JBL VLA301H speakers , 14 JBL VLA 601H, three JBL PD743, two JBL PD5212, 12 AWC82 and 21 AW295. Four line arrays cover the west, South and East, with plenty of filler speakers covering the north seats and top of the seats.
“Stadium design presents many challenges, including a deep area under the balcony balcony. This area requires a completely independent submix in order to blend correctly with the main system”, says David Sturzenbecher of Daktronics.
