Shure Develops Smart Rechargeable Batteries for Wireless Microphone Systems
The American multinational Shure has presented its new technology for rechargeable batteries developed specifically for the company's wireless systems, available now through Earpro in Spain, Portugal and Andorra.
Developed for the range of wireless microphone systems of Shure, This multinational audio systems company has optimized the durability of this equipment with its new technology for rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, marketed in the markets of Spain, Portugal and Andorra for Earpro.
The novelty of this Shure technology is that the rechargeable batteries incorporate a chip that shows the exact status of the batteries and can also transmit the information over an Ethernet connection to guarantee events without failures or last-minute surprises.
These 'smart' rechargeable batteries can also be used in the Shure UR5 wireless portable receiver, UHF-R line component, so that no failure occurs during corporate use events, educational or live presentations.
Sound technicians Erik Vaveris and Chris Lyons, from Shure USA, have carried out a video to present this new technology in detail.
