E Display installs the digital signage system of the Famous Wok restaurant chain

Chinese food restaurant chain Famous Wok is replacing its traditional menu systems and static panels with E Display's digital menu boards.

The digital signage solutions provider E Display is the company in charge of displaying the digital menu boards of the Famous Wok restaurant chain. Famous Wok is a chain of restaurants that includes different brands such as Kung Pao Wok, Sizzling Wok and Flaming Wok with a franchise network spanning the United States and Canada offering Chinese cuisine.

In order to increase product sales and report menu promotions in a simple way, Famous Wok considered replacing the old printed promotional media and static menu screens with more modern digital signage systems., that would allow menu and price changes to be made more automated and quickly.

Famous Wok has started the deployment of its new digital signage network with the E Display system in two of its main establishments in Canada located in the shopping centers of Toronto Premium Outlets in Halton Hills and Park Place in Lethbridge. From here, will continue with the rest of its establishments.

In these pilot locations, E Display has been responsible for the design and installation of the screens, as well as the creation and editing of the contents and the management of the network. In these establishments it has deployed five high-definition screens of commercial quality of 47 Inch, which are networked using a media player that offers the quality and reliability required in this type of commercial environment.

In addition, E Display uses its own cloud signage platform, Edisplay SaaS, to manage screen content from a central location. The screens display a mix of content ranging from flash-based product and promotional information to full menu items offered by Famous Wok.
