XL Video supplies visual systems to Days of Ukraine festival 2013 London

The Tower Bridge in London has been the framework where the Days of Ukraine has been held, a festival that has had XL Video as a supplier of the large outdoor LED screen and camera system.

Firtash Foundation has celebrated the Days of Ukraine, A meeting that took place from the 17 to the 19 October in London and which aimed to make known the art and culture of Ukraine. The culmination of these three days of cultural and leisure events was realized with a music festival, dancing and craft exhibition at Potters Field Park, next to the iconic Tower Bridge.

For the implementation of this event XL Video has worked with EventPM, supplying the LED screen and projection cameras that were required for the event.

The challenge XL Video faced is that the screen, of fifteen square meters, It had to adapt to function outdoors and withstand inclement weather.. The screen, Located on a small truss, was designed with Pixeled FX-11 LED modules. Screens located on the main stage displayed a combination of pre-recorded content and IMAG images from the XL camera system. .

This camera system was composed of five HD equipment Sony, 4 HXC-100s and an HDC-P1 on a runway 10 meters that covered what was happening on the main stage from all angles. For its part, the Panasonic PPU controlled the TX mix of the cameras , as well as the ISO records of each channel of the recorders Aja Kipro.
