Almost a year after two world leaders in display systems, Boat and projectiondesign, will unite their technological expertise, the strategic objective is to 'join forces' to show their joint advances in infrared and optical projection in the I/ITSEC contest 2013, held in Orlando (United States).

ship and projectiondesign have chosen the contest I / ITSEC 2013 (stand 2535), that takes place until the next 5 December at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, to show joint developments in display solutions and their latest advances in infrared and optical projection technology for night vision, as well as simulation (LCoS and DLP ReaLED) Under the slogan 'Joining forces'.

One of the latest additions to their product portfolio that professionals can see at the stand of these companies is the, qualified as LCos technology 'generation 2013', 7Q HC SIM system, offering a native contrast ratio of 40.000:1 and up to a full dynamic range of 20 Million:1, to show very realistic night scenes with black levels invisible to the human eye.

Projectiondesign FS35 IRFor its part, projectiondesign's FS35 IR LED night vision projector provides 4.1 megapixels, offering nine times higher infrared light intensity than the previous model. A new motorized optical IR filter is available to ensure optimal flexibility and better black levels during the Night Vision Goggle Stimulated (NVG) for training, with 100.000 hours of uninterrupted light output for daytime training scenarios and maximum installation flexibility.

The infrared option has also been incorporated throughout the projectiondesign F35 series, while the new motorized optical IR filter is available in single-chip DLP systems of this same range.

Another novelty is the new range of NV43 and NV46 high contrast lenses., constructed of glass with an optimized IR coating that significantly improves IR transmission to 850 nm, providing a 300% More brightness and contrast than regular lenses, according to company data. To this is added the short lens EN47 of 0,65:1 by ProjectionDesign, available to deliver clear, crisp images with WQXGA resolution.
