Canon completes its security platform with Nedap solutions

Canon partners with Nedap to bring together its security solutions to deliver a comprehensive IP video surveillance platform. In this way, Becomes Nedap's Hardware Security Partner.

The alliance signed with Nedap allows the full range of network cameras from Canon is available to Nedap customers through compatibility with its security management software (Aeos), Providing a powerful video management suite to system integrators and end users.

Accreditation will bring numerous benefits to system integrators and customers, by expanding Canon's suite of integrated image analytics solutions, as well as being compatible with its entire range of IP video surveillance cameras. This range includes the latest models of cameras in the Full HD and Ultra Compact S series.

The Nedap Aeos security management software will rely on these analytics to provide functionalities for access control, Intrusion detection, Video management and access management on a single, integrated platform.

Existing Nedap customers who already use the Aeos solution for video management can upgrade to any of Canon's models. The integrated platform will also be compatible with future additions to Canon's IP video surveillance camera range.
