Ise 2014: JBL Professional complements its portfolio of directional speakers
Designed for medium and large enclosures that require excellent control, high output capacity, configuration individually or in array applications, the PD6000 series comes to complement the PD700 large mid-acute systems, that JBL Professional shows at ISE 2014.
JBL Professional, brand of the multinational professional audio Harman Group, has announced in Ise 2014 the launch of the PD6000 series of directional speakers. Designed for medium and large enclosures that require excellent control, high output capacity, configuration individually or in array applications, this series complements the PD700 large mid-acute systems with a more compact size and greater affordability, while the PD6000 have a higher SPL capacity. Pd6000 series is ideal for stadiums, Sands, art installations, Theatres, Auditoriums, worship spaces…
It consists of fourteen models, which include four systems of 3 full-range pathways, four systems of 2 pathways 12 Inch, four medium-high systems of 2 tracks and two low frequency models. Those of coverage include the original 40×30, 60×40 and 90×50. With the introduction of the PD6000 series, an additional coverage pattern of 60 is incorporated×60.
The PD series, with injection molded rotating wavegus, enabled JBL to offer the market a more cost-effective high-quality speaker. The average frequency of 24×24 PT inches (Progressive Transition) of the waveguide provide excellent pattern control along with low distortion and extremely natural sound. This is also the case with high frequency PT waveguing guides at 12×12 Inch . these rotating waveguing guides give the system designer the flexibility to use pd6000 models, either in horizontal or vertical orientations .
In addition to the injection molded wavegus and the new 60x coverage pattern 60, all compression engines have been updated to include newer jbl driver technologies, including the 2432H and 2453H . the pd6000 series uses the cmcd controller – 82H with Cone Midrange Compression Driver (CMCD). In addition, all low frequency conductors have Vented Gap Coolin technology for cooling (VGC).
All these changes have allowed JBL to offer the PD6000 series speakers at a much more competitive price, providing system designers with new patterns of additional coverage.
review, last, that all models are available in blank versions (WH-), and its construction is weather resistant (WRC and WRX) for outdoor installation in moderate to extreme environments.
