It consists of fourteen models, which include four systems of 3 Full-range tracks, four systems of 2 Ways of 12 Inch, four medium-high systems of 2 Via and two low-frequency models. The coverage includes the original 40×30, 60×40 and 90×50. With the introduction of the PD6000 series, An additional 60 coverage pattern is incorporated×60.
The PD Series, with injection-molded rotating waveguides, allowed JBL to offer the market a more cost-effective high-quality speaker. The average frequency of 24×24 inches PT (Progressive Transition) of waveguides provide excellent pattern control along with low distortion and extremely natural sound. This is also the case with the PT in 12 high-frequency waveguides×12 Inch . These rotating waveguides provide the system designer with the flexibility to use PD6000 models, either in landscape or portrait orientations .
In addition to the injection-molded waveguides and the new 60x coverage pattern 60, all compression drivers have been updated to include the latest JBL driver technologies, including the 2432H and 2453H . The PD6000 series uses the CMCD controller – 82H with Cone Midrange Compression Driver (CMCD). In addition, all low-frequency conductors are powered by Vented Gap Coolin technology for cooling (VGC).
All these changes have allowed JBL to offer the PD6000 series speakers at a much more competitive price, providing system designers with new patterns of additional coverage.
Review, last, that all models are available in blank versions (WH-), and its construction is weatherproof (WRC and WRX) for outdoor installation in moderate to extreme environments.
