Ultra high resolution videowall to show the business trajectory to customers and visitors
Brookfield Office Properties, a reference company in the ownership and management of luxury offices in the United States , Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom, has incorporated in its new headquarters, located on the floor 15 of lower Manhattan, in New York, a huge ultra high resolution video wall to receive your customers and visitors.
This videowall consists of 36 screens of 55 Inch, in configuration 12×3 and ultra-narrow bezel, with a joint resolution of 23,040×3.240 Pixels, which shows content about the history of the company, complemented by high-impact visual effects and motion graphics.
The installation and integration of this videowall has been the responsibility of Warren Z Productions, in collaboration with Union Design for the production of original digital content and Show Sage LLC, premium partner of the Swedish manufacturer Dataton for North America, that has supplied the Multiscreen Watchout system of this provider for its management.
Jay Barba, Warren Z Production Manager, explains the ins and outs of this ultra-high-resolution dynamic communication project "in which dynamic content was vital, so our choice was Dataton Watchout as the best media server solution. It was our choice because we ran into some challenges in this facility., as there was hardly any room for a traditional media rack or server room, since 36 Individual video signals require a lot of space and additional hardware for signal extension.".
In this project, Warren Z opted to install a small Dataton Watchpax media player (with a size of 127x148x22 mm.) on the back of each monitor, so only one Cat5 cable was required to a computer located in a nearby rack), which eliminated the need for a large amount of server room space.
For its part, Union Design generated to show in the videowall original contents, of one hour duration, using Watchout software, "As it allowed us to generate high-impact and moving graphics on all screens., creating content without limitations with Brookfield requirements, about the history of the company, its international expansion, the business focus, etc.", underlines Adam Cohen, president of this company.
