Javier Vivas, CEO of Soditec, and Miguel Ángel Rojo, head of the R&D Department, were in charge of presiding over the opening ceremony of the new offices yesterday. In their speeches they highlighted the company's strategy that is oriented to take its business to new markets and enter the world of content.

With a view to expanding its activities outside the national market, Soditec officially inaugurated yesterday its new facilities in Cáceres. A building of 600 square meters that accommodates about thirty workers and from where service is provided to Spain, South America and the rest of Europe.

The event was chaired by Javier Vivas, CEO of the company, and Miguel Ángel Rojo, head of the R&D Department that has been recently created. In addition, was attended by Jorge Manuel Prieto, director of the Chamber of Commerce of Cáceres, and Lucas Barbero, Councillor of the City Council.

"We are not even from Madrid, or New York, we are from Cáceres and we are known all over the world. currently, we have more than 10.000 installations carried out, both in Spain and in Germany and Russia, and now we are in talks to bring our technology and services to South America and other emerging markets. We are very proud to have come this far and we hope to continue growing much more from now on.".

This Extremaduran company began its journey in 2005 with the aim of becoming a benchmark in the distribution of digital whiteboards and monitors for the educational market. Your products, which are marketed under the Galneo brand, are designed by Soditec itself and manufactured in China. "And while the hardware is important, so is the added value we bring., services and, above all, our human approach. We want to be close to the client and accompany him throughout the project".

These products are the main protagonists of the training room that they have created inside the new Soditec building and where a 4K touch screen of 85 inches offering a resolution of 3840x 2160p with 10 touch points.

It is a room prepared to show the company's offer and highlight the functionalities of its products, with solutions that respond to the requirements of the educational environment. likewise, in this space you can also see different projectors of Optoma, brand of which they are partners and that accompanies them in their projects.

The Research Department, that has been recently created, is in charge of Miguel Ángel Rojo, who took advantage of his speech at the opening ceremony to present the latest initiatives that are being developed and that are all in the prototype phase. "We've moved from the digital whiteboard to applications.. It is another step in the evolution of our company", comments Rojo.

These are initiatives aimed at the world of content and apps that are closely related to the mobility environment.

"The first development we have made is a software designed for the distribution environment in markets such as Ecuador or Peru.. The second focuses more on our traditional field of action, since it is an interface aimed at children, as well as an augmented reality tool that allows any drawing made on paper to come to life on the mobile screen once it has been captured by the phone's camera", explains Michelangelo.

For almost six years, Soditec has been collaborating closely with Editorial Edelvives and together they have made almost 6.000 facilities. "We always go hand in hand and one of the latest developments has been a prototype story story, with the voice of Juan Echanove", clarifies the head of the R&D Department.

Soditec Offices in CaceresOutside the educational environment, have two apps, one aimed at improving the quality of life of the elderly and another to optimize the old town of the city of Cáceres. With the first, "when passing the mobile phone through the box of a medicine, the application analyzes it and is able to determine when the patient should take it, how many pills are left or even when you should go back to the doctor to ask for more. As for the second, it is designed to promote the main historical monuments of the city. The idea is to place some posters in these buildings and that when the mobile phone is passed, extensive information about it appears on the screen".
