The agency MediaCom and the outdoor advertising company Clear Channel UK have teamed up to test the new programmatic advertising platform, Vukunet, that automates the purchase, planning, Dooh campaign execution and optimization (Digital out-of-home).Vukunet is being tested by MediaCom in 40 Clear Channel shopping malls in the United Kingdom, including Trafford Centre in Manchester and Meadowhall in Sheffield.

The Vukunet platform, developed by NEC Display Solutions, provides digital signage network operators, localization owners and media and brand agencies, more dynamic solutions and methods for deploying applications that meet market and user needs.

“We're starting a journey that will allow us to unlock the true potential of Dooh technology, and we're going to do it by implementing a new platform, Vukunet. We are sure that this will benefit the delivery and, ultimately, Optimization, of digital campaigns", explains Gill Reid, board director of MediaCom.

NEC's platform will allow advertisers to send content directly to digital screens across the country, being able to review and optimize their campaigns in real time and eliminate a series of processes that until now were done manually.

“This project will highlight how Dooh campaigns can be carried out simultaneously with online campaigns. Our goal is to facilitate processes and open up new opportunities for advertisers.", comment is Dirk Huelsermann, Head of Vukunet in EMEA at NEC Display Solutions Europe.
