The National Council of Science and Technology (CONACyT) of Mexico has approved the R&D project for digital signage equipment presented by the subsidiary of Ateire Tecnologías in this country, Durango IT Services.

The digital signage R&D project has had Mexican state approval and was selected nationally by CONACyT, whose terms establish that Ateire Technologies, through its subsidiary Durango IT Services in this country, will be responsible for its development and coordination.

Specifically, The project covers the development of specific software and hardware for certain applications; the integration of digital signage in outdoor devices and the production of urban outdoor furniture, which will culminate with the development of an outdoor audiovisual totem of 3,000cd/m2, Adequate luminosity for high light intensity outdoor conditions in Mexico.

In this sense, These devices will have high-luminosity audiovisual technology, digital touch screen, geopositioning system and balanced WiFi/3G connectivity, in addition to other support systems for remote diagnosis in case of incident.
