Creating an innovative visual environment during the last edition of the Eurovision Song Contest was the objective achieved by Panasonic Visual System Solutions and AV Centre, with the installation of more than a hundred screens distributed in the main areas of the auditorium of the Danish city of Copenhagen.
The last edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, held in the middle of last May in the capital of Denmark, has had the audiovisual experience of Panasonic and AV Centre in the supply and installation of eight professional displays (of 6,5 M. each) and 130 flat screens distributed in the auditorium, the so-called green room and the off-stage areas.
The objective of this deployment, for which the TX-50AS600 display models were used, TX-42AS600, Panasonic TX-32AS600 and TH-80LF50, was to create an innovative visual environment so that festival participants and the audience did not miss any details during the show and voting..
This is how Mikkel Behrend explains it, AV Center rental manager: "always in close collaboration with Panasonic, we believe that with this deployment we have responded to the high expectations of the organizer, providing a reliable and cutting-edge technology solution and maintaining an extremely competitive cost".
For its part, Karoly Neumann, Country Manager of the Nordic Countries of Panasonic, has stressed that "more than 170 millions of people watch the festival from their homes, but it is important that the 11.000 who do it live feel that they are part of the action. The high resolution of the numerous screens installed offered the audience and the participants a clear and colorful image and allowed them to enjoy the evening with the maximum intensity".
