Solid State Logic has added a new console to its Live line, the L300, a smaller and more compact model than the L500 but equipped with the power and capacity to perform live shows. likewise, has also released the version 2.5 Live software, that expands the possibilities of this digital console.

A year after launching the Live console range, Solid State Logic (SSL), whose products it distributes Lexon, has released the new L300 model, joining the L500. Both consoles are intended for applications on tour, facilities, Theatres... They offer the same sound and spectacular mode of operation, having the same remote input and output units.

The L300 is physically smaller and more compact than the L500, but it offers enough power and connectivity to cope with large productions, because it has up to 568 inputs/outputs, 128 processing routes (96 Complete, 32 raw), an array of 32 X 32, 36 VCAs and 48 effects.

The L300 incorporates the new V2.5 software, that offers advanced optim optimization of effects and up to 27 new features and updates to the Live platform that also includes the L500. The new optimization allows you to increase the number of calls for the purposes, that can be deployed simultaneously in many of the types of effect. It also includes new features, like Follow mode, the Tempo Link in the effects rack, the user buttons on the Master Tile, addiction of new menus and Mix Bus Copy functionality.

Follow Mode allows them to be chained together, in any configuration you want, Select buttons, Only and the Query function found in fader Tiles on Live consoles. Each of the three Tile buttons can be programmed to 'follow' any of the other buttons, on every channel, allowing the buttons to work on the input channel, the Assistant or Stem Group is chained in several different ways, user-defined.

A simple user interface offers a quick and customizable method of setting up the Follow function, offering maximum flexibility to accommodate workflow and allow quick and efficient access to channels.

Tempo Link functionality adds the ability to chain and control the Tap Tempo of any delay effects loaded into the L300 and L500 console effect racks. Allows you to control up to 6 Tap Tempo functions from the User hardware buttons and the multi-gesture touchscreen of the consoles.

If it is necessary to control multiple delays by means of the same Tap Tempo, all the user has to do is load those effects into the same rack and activate their Tempo Link function, and immediately their Tempos will be chained together.

The user buttons on the Master Tile have been activated and offer access to the 6 Tap Tempo functions that are part of the new Tempo Link Function in the effects rack, and also offer access to 4 of the menus most commonly used on Live consoles. User buttons provide hardware-direct access to these key features, and can be switched simply between Mute Groups and User buttons with a simple button press.

Both feature groups are also available through the Home Menu, which has been included in the version 2.5.

As part of the expansion of features of the 2.5, several menus have been added to the Channel Control Tiles Home button, which includes its own multi-gesture touchscreen. This includes access to Mute groups and User buttons from Tiles, as well as the automation visualization, providing access and visualization to the console's scene list, scene notes and other automation features.

The Mix Bus Copy feature makes it possible for the contents of all mix buses to be copied along the console's flexible bus structure. Included the ability to copy between Mono configured buses, Stereo and LCR, and it is also possible to copy between all types of bus.

The contents of the Auxiliary bus can be copied to Stem groups and vice versa. This provides a fast and powerful copy function / paste that is very useful in any mixing operation.
