AMX and Earpro respond to the new collaboration needs of the business environment
Responding to the requirements presented by the new meeting spaces in companies has been the theme of the event held by AMX, in collaboration with Earpro, the past 29 and 30 October in Madrid. In the demonstration area it was possible to see what is the core of this manufacturer, belonging to the Harman group, in the collaborative environment revolving around the Enzo platform and RPM software.
AMX and Earpro have gathered in Madrid it directors and technicians to show the new collaborative environment that is presented in the business world and its technological response for these meeting rooms. An event that has developed on 29 and 30 of October in Madrid and that has had a part of conferences and another area of demonstration where the attendees have been able to check the functionalities of the equipment of different brands of the group Harman.
"Collaboration has always existed in companies but today the needs of companies have changed because technologies have invaded us in all social areas. There is a new generation of managers, with a wide variety of location systems and devices. A need has been created for solutions that respond to these small meeting rooms that are accessible to both large and small businesses.. We have solutions that respond to these needs and this is what we wanted to convey in this event", explains Manuel Barazal, general manager AMX Iberia.
En esta reunión se ha trasladado este mensaje, explaining how companies can monetize and facilitate the use of simple rooms and has shown the proposal that AMX and Earpro have in the field of collaboration.
AMX is aware of the changes that technology and new forms of collaboration have brought to companies and in this sense has developed in recent years solutions and products aimed at responding to these requirements. The RPM software, available in its second version, has been the axis around which the new product developments have been carried out to which the collaborative platform for meeting rooms Enzo joins, incorporating webconference and mirroring, as well as a whole new series of products such as solecis digital selectors or buttons with integrated control Massio.
Since last May AMX is part of the Harman group, acquisition which is valued by Barazal "more as an integration than as a purchase. So far there has been no change but in the short term the fruits of this synergy can be seen and it will be reflected in a new generation of technologies and products". In this way, at the event, in addition to AMX solutions, attendees were able to see and test professional audio equipment from other Harman brands such as JBL, Soundcraft, Studer, Crown, Bss, DBX or Lexicon, distributed in Spain and Portugal by Earpro.
The version 2 of AMX's Enzo platform provides advanced improvements to make it easier for professionals to have greater accessibility to present, collaborate and share content in any meeting space such as the mirror screen that allows you to display the content of laptops and mobile devices, as well as support for web conferencing that makes it easy to start Enzo sessions from a touchpad or button.
Designed as an application-based platform that gives meeting attendees options to decide how they want to present and share their content, Enzo allows you to retrieve content stored in the cloud, the web or on a local USB drive, in addition to offering the possibility to share the content on a terminal or portable device in mirror mode, thanks to mirrorop wireless content sharing technology.
likewise, it also offers the ability to create macro sessions in Enzo through Rapid Project Maker (RPM), a cloud-based application to create a meeting environment that allows you to integrate different teams and technologies and that, in sync, are integrated. RPM allows you to design this environment in a simple way according to the needs of each company.
