BenQ Symposium 2014 Ingram Micro

The Projector Manufacturer BenQ has taken advantage of the Symposium 2014 of Ingram Micro, celebrated the past 30 October in Barcelona (see news in Digital AV Magazine) to show the distribution channel their wireless solutions for their systems oriented to the educational environment, Business & Domestic, "where the only cable connected to the projector is the power cable", as Umberto Ronchetti explained, PRJ business line manager of this company.

BenQ Symposium 2014 Ingram MicroThe proposal for the educational environment, called QCast Dongle, is based on Miracast technology with HDMI connection to the projector port to share all content on mobile devices in the classroom (tablet, Portable, smartphone).

As Ronchetti points out, "QCast Dongle is NFC technology brought to the projection environment", as the system incorporates this connectivity standard and can be powered via USB or directly by MHL.

Mirroring display on large screen

BenQ Symposium 2014 Ingram MicroQPresenter Pro is the WiFi (data-only) USB dongle for the corporate environment, thanks to which the wireless connection to share content between the projector and mobile devices (for IoS and Android) is done with two USBs (one in each team), No need for drivers or added installation. The company has added QPresenter Pro to the W665 projector, that offers 6.500 Lumens.

For your home cinema range and home environment, Wireless connectivity is based on a plug-and-play kit with transmitter and receiver with two inputs and one HDMI output to provide a wireless signal range of up to 30 metre, in addition to facilitating the visualization of the content of the same source in two different rooms. Projectors 1070+ and the 1080ST+ short-throw optics can use this system.
