The version 1.2 Bosch Multimedia DCN Conferencing System Software Extends Support to 750 Participants, incorporates the possibility of identifying the seats, perform ad hoc voting and allows the use of adjustable flexible rod microphones, ideal for acoustically difficult environments.
Bosch Security Systems you have updated the software for your multimedia dcn conferencing system. The version 1.2 of this tool extends the capabilities of the system to allow the participation of up to 750 people, the identification of participants, ad hoc voting from the seat and the use of adjustable flexible rod microphones for acoustically challenging environments, as rooms with reverb.
The version 1.2 DCN multimedia software increases from 100 to 750 the maximum number of possible participants, which are equipped with a conference unit of their own (a multimedia DCN device). This feature makes this solution ideal, even, in multitudinous conferences, whether governmental or corporate, and that it is also able to meet the growing needs of customers without requiring new investments.
In-seat ID functionality allows conference participants to settle where they prefer and register from there. After this, their names are automatically displayed in the list of speakers and on the camera screen.
Participants can log in by selecting their name from the list of participants or by entering their username. If a strict seating arrangement is required, the system welcomes participants at the start of the session and indicates their seats. To prohibit unauthorized access, passwords or identification systems are used.
Ad hoc voting
The new version of the software allows an ad hoc vote from the seat, which is very suitable for parliamentary or town hall plenary sessions and does not require additional technical preparations.
Conference participants can choose (in your language) among the 'In favor of' options, 'Against' or 'Abstention' without getting up from their seats. Votes are counted by the conference unit to which the function has been assigned, and the results are automatically displayed on the 7 inches of the multimedia devices of each of the participants.
Microphones for complex acoustic environments
For noisy environments and rooms with poor acoustics, the new software also supports the use of adjustable flexible rod unidirectional microphones immune to interference from mobile phones.
The media device detects the connected microphone and adjusts the appropriate audio settings.
Bosch's DCN Multimedia conferencing solution combines audio, video, multimedia content, Internet access and an open architecture over IP. A system that is conceived as an open platform for third-party apps in a friendly environment.
