Samsung's new SUHD TVs "mark a new era", as pointed out by its managers within the framework of CES 2015, thanks to the company's own panel technology, an SUHD remastering engine and Smart TV features based on the Tizen operating system.

Nano crystal technology

These TVs use nano crystal technology, Energy efficient, developed by the company, and the SUHD Remastered Intelligent Image Quality Engine, to bring new advances in contrast, brightness, color reproduction and detail level "to provide an overall experience of far superior image quality".

The nano crystal semiconductor in SUHD TVs transmits different colors of light, depending on its size, to produce the highest color purity and light efficiency available on the market today, with a color expression 64 times higher than conventional TVs.

SUHD remastering engine automatically analyzes image brightness to minimize additional power consumption, while offering maximum levels of contrast, producing images with more black depth and 2,5 times brighter than conventional TVs. Thanks to the collaboration with the Hollywood 20th Century Fox studio, Samsung has been able to optimize content to meet the highest standards of SUHD quality, to provide users with UHD visualization.
