The new range of short-range 3LCD projectors Epson is made up of five models: EB-520, EB-525W, EB-530, EB-535W and EB-536Wi. These are equipment that provides high image quality with a high contrast ratio. Offers high luminosity and a crisp level of detail, allowing projections to be made even in rooms where there is intense lighting.

Epson has designed this range of projectors designed for use in classrooms or small meeting rooms. They can be mounted on the wall, on the ceiling or placed on a table near the wall to free up work space.

"EB-520 projectors, EB-525W, EB-530, EB-535W and EB-536Wi offer schools and businesses a versatile solution that can be installed in individual classrooms, shared between various classes or within a campus. They are the ideal evolution of older projectors or the right alternative to the most expensive interactive whiteboards or ultra-short distance projectors", explains José Pereira, Epson Ibérica product manager.

These teams offer a resolution ranging from 2.700 Lumens (EB-520) to the 3.400 (EB-536Wi) with a contrast ratio of 16.000:1. All models include a 16W speaker and microphone input, as well as network connectivity via RJ45 and HDMI input for audio and video. These connection capabilities make it easy for them to install with the latest digital devices and legacy analog products, which means you don't have to replace older hardware.

The highest in the range is the EB-536Wi model that incorporates the two-pen interactivity feature that means two users can simultaneously write on the screen with each pen.

Ecological and energy

Epson 535wOn the other hand, this range of projectors includes a lamp designed to last a 66% more than equivalent previous models, which gives them a low total cost of ownership. The AV mute function also saves energy by dimming the lamp in a 70% and allows you to pause a presentation and redirect attention to the public on the screen to speakers or debates that arise.

These Epson projectors are also quickly and easily configured. They can be placed off-center thanks to the horizontal and vertical Keystone correction, freeing up workspace in classrooms and meeting rooms. The short-distance projection of these equipment also allows them to be closer to the wall, which means shadows cause less discomfort and reduce brightness.

When the projector has been set up, it is possible to copy the OSD function (on-screen display) from one projector to another or others using a USB memory or cable, as well as over a network so you don't have to configure each and every additional projector individually.
