The solution consists of a 3D foot scanner and an interactive touch screen.

It is a solution that brings great benefits, both to the store and to customers. The system looks for the shoe that best suits each foot with which buyer satisfaction is achieved and allows sales to increase. First the foot is measured with the scanner and the most appropriate recommendations are displayed on the touch screen.

Elo Touch 3D Foot Scanner Mifitto

For this project, Mifitto opted for the Elo Touch 3201L touchscreen, "as it offered us high quality and stable and reliable performance", Explains, Thomas Harmes, director of Mifitto.

The touch screen of 32 inch 3201L incorporates an LCD panel and Led backlight, with a color-active matrix thin-film transistor of 24 bits that deliver display performance with a Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a brightness of 350 cd m². Features that make it an ideal digital signage solution for viewing both graphics and images indoors.

On the other hand, 3201L display is available with projected capacitive technology (PCAP) o IntelliTouch Plus surface acoustic wave touch technologies.

For the development of the 3D foot scanner, mifitto was assisted by experts in the footwear sector as well as scientists from the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits (Fraunhofer IIS), researchers who were responsible for inventing the MP3 format.
