7thSense's Delta Media Server solution is used in three of the six immersive experiences offered by China's Wuhan Movie indoor cinema theme park. A solution that allows uncompressed video playback, with great reliability, in a multi-screen environment.

7thSense at Wuhan Movie Park

In December 2014 Wuhan Movie theme park opened its doors, owned by the Chinese company Wanda Group that controls the AMC cinema chain in North America. It is a three-storey building located in the Wuhan Central Cultural District.

An installation that has been made to become the first indoor cinema theme park and in which immersive and multidimensional experiences are offered as well as projections ranging from 3D to 6D. Designed by Mark Fisher, creative art director involved in Beijing Olympic ceremonies, the London Olympics and the Guangzhou Asian Games, the inspiration for the design of this building has been drawn from the essence of the ChuHan culture. An environment that is home to six great attractions, restaurants, fast food outlets and shops.

7thSense at Wuhan Movie Park

Behind two of these attractions, 'Power of Nature' and 'Ultimate Energy', is the Orlando-based company ITEC Entertainment that has been in charge of its production and design in which the Delta Media Server solution of 7thSense to provide lossless content to screens.

The first of these experiences takes place in a 4K lounge and offers a virtual flight that takes visitors face to face with the biggest natural disasters.. 'Ultimate Energy' also offers a simulation, but it is in 5D for which an 8K 3D projection and live actors are used that transport visitors to a future world in which man is at war with machines..

Wincomm, 7thSense partner in China, has been responsible for the integration of audiovisual technologies that have been required to launch these two immersive experiences.

7thSense at Wuhan Movie ParkFor its part, the attraction called 'Star Theatre', which offers a 3D flight simulator and has been designed and produced by Simex, also makes use of the 7thSense solution, Delta Media Server.
