Epiphan Systems' VGA Grid system makes it easy to capture multiple audio and video sources simultaneously and, subsequently, Display them in different layouts, with custom background and logo, in training applications, simulation, control rooms in sectors such as health, aeronautics, Automotive, etc.

Epiphan VGA Grid

Specialized in capture solutions, High-resolution video and audio hardware recording and streaming, Epiphan Systems has its new VGA Grid system available that, in its Standalone Grid version, allows the capture of up to twelve physically connected simultaneous HD video sources, for which the server is marketed, through Ambient Media, in two versions: One with four cards (eight HD and four SD sources), and another with six cards (twelve HD and eight HD).

Each card has an HD port (VGA/DVI/HDMI), Other SDI (3G, HD and SD) and one SD (S), allowing sources to be captured from all at once, with 2K resolution (2.048×2.048p o 2.560×1.600p, according to the version).

Epiphan VGA GridContent can be submitted and published on a content delivery network (CDN) or local users connecting directly to the VGA Grid.

It is also possible to display video sources in different layouts; each of which may include one or more sources, in the desired position and size, along with a background and logo.

Epiphan VGA GridIn the Networked Grid version, Epiphan Systems' system connects directly to video sources via IP network, so it does not incorporate capture cards. The operation is as follows: to capture the video source, an HD encoder is used (with SD input and audio), which converts it into IP and sends it over the network to the Grid, with 2K resolution.

Thanks to this, it is possible to connect up to 64 HD sources (1.920×1.200p) other than a single Grid hub and, as with the Standalone Grid version, Signals can be visualized in many different ways.

As far as codecs and formats are concerned,, Grid records in all major formats and files (H.264, MPEG-4, MJPEG, MP3, AAC and PCM, as well as AVI, MP4, MPEG-TS or MOV, respectively). The configuration, management and monitoring is carried out through web interface and HTTP and RS-232 APIs, with transport protocols such as RTP, MPEG-TS RTP, MPEG-TS, RTMP and RTSP.
